AUDIO POST - TWO FACED
This project aims to provide experience of selecting, putting forward and delivering a body of audio/visual work, which demonstrates the ability to work creatively but in an applied professional context. As a group, we had to explore the ambiguity of meaning and the power of sound and music to manipulate and subvert the meaning of a video sequence. We had to apply critical understanding and creative abilities by creating a new sound treatments for a piece of video using original Foley, sound design, atmospheres and music, so that the sequence's original intentions are supported.
Thierry Schlicklin - Mixing Engineer, Sound Design
Collette Scott - Score, Foley
Lewys Rees - Score, Foley
Chris Riley - Foley
SUPPORTIVE CLIP
The idea behind the supportive treatment was to maintain the dark and tense mood of the original story, but also to bring new flavors. Collette Scott composed the score while I created and arranged the sound design, Foley and score together within a consistent final mix.
Edited and mixed with Logic Pro
Clip taken from 'The girl with dragon tattoo' directed by David Fincher
